Music in the Barn
Rustic Acoustics
The custom of playing music in a barn has been a lively part of American rural life since the 19th century. The acoustics of this post-and-beam barn make it an absolute pleasure to continue the tradition.

Mark Erelli Thursday 10/19
A special evening of solo acoustic music, diving back through the catalogue and revisiting old favorites.
Following full-bodied rock forebears Tom Petty, George Harrison, and Roy Orbison, Erelli’s songwriting explores the unknown glories of this planet and love’s transformational power. Over his two decade-long career, the singer-songwriter-sideman-producer-writer has proven himself equally at home in a multitude of roles: producing albums for artists like GRAMMY-winner Lori McKenna; serving as a sideman guitarist for artists like Paula Cole, Marc Cohn, and Josh Ritter; writing and producing his own material, like 2018’s “By Degrees,” for which he was nominated for Song of the Year at the Americana Honors and Awards; and most recently, becoming an advocate for low-vision artists and working with venues to make their spaces more accessible. Written in the wake of his diagnosis with a degenerative retinal disease, Erelli’s 2023 album Lay Your Darkness Down is the next step on Erelli’s journey, following up on 2020’s Blindsided, which garnered praise from Rolling Stone Country, the Associated Press, NPR, The Boston Globe, and more.

Jordan Tice & Christian Sedelmyer Wednesday 11/1
Jordan Tice is a singer, songwriter and guitarist who combines witty, well-crafted songs with deft fingerstyle and flatpick guitar playing. His performances have been compared to those of legends like Leo Kottke, John Hartford, and David Bromberg for their mix of virtuosity and playfulness and his songs have been compared to those of writers, Bob Dylan and John Prine for their humor, introspection and philosophical nature. Folk fans might recognize Jordan Tice as a member of the instrumental bluegrass supergroup, Hawktail as well as his sideman work with many other artists in the folk/bluegrass genre such as Dave Rawlings, Andrew Marlin (Mandolin Orange), Yola,
Tony Trischka, and comedian Steve Martin.

“Authentic & sincere singer/songwriter”
Angelina’s sincere music, complete with her honest lyrics, makes you really listen. With a voice so uninhibited, there’s no limit to what she can do with it. You’ll be taken through folk, bluegrass, indie, rock, and something in between all of that in one set.
Angelina grew up in Galway, New York developing a deep love for nature and quiet, both of which feed and inspire her and her music. She began writing as a way of working through the trials life throws at you, and still does so, in a self-informed and introspective way. She has since gone on to release two EPs and four singles. She played a sold-out performance at The Cock ‘n Bull restaurant just this past January and has recorded at the esteemed Village Studios in L.A., as well as the Atlantic Records Studio in New York.
