Jesse DeNatale…Wednesday, June 17
Jesse DeNatale’s new album “The Hands of Time,” is in a word, reverential. It is at times, symphonic and at other times pulsing forward with a rawness and power of rhythm he says stems from his Mexican/Italian roots. The California native says when it came to this record, it was about cutting through the noise, not over-planning the production, but rather chasing the mystery and weaving all he has learned about being human with what he describes as a new, thinner and fragile reality that is in a kind of recovery-mode from the pandemic. Some albums try to ride the zeitgeist of our times, embodying the urgency and anxiety of it. “The Hands of Time” comes in the form of the medicinal antidote, reminding you of all that is eternal and of the spirit, deeply reflective and reverent toward the art of living, to help us find our way. Though the ten songs on the record range in topic, from love, (Love Is) and gratitude (The Hands of Time), to sorrow and to the horrors of gun violence (Stop This World), It's the notion of time itself, with its power and irreversibility, that appears in every song.

Erik Koskinen Band…Thursday, June 18
Erik Koskinen is an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer, whose music is not categorized by sub-genres. Stylistically he is on his own while heavily influenced by American roots music. The rhythmic integrity and musical tone is as important as the lyrical content and the artistic intent. Koskinen has reverently entered the anthology of uniquely crafted wry songs with the likes of Woody Guthrie and Ry Cooder while speaking as plainly as your neighbor. The Minneapolis Star Tribune calls Koskinen “the real deal” and “The best country songwriter in Minnesota”

Yarn…Thursday, July 16
Since forming in New York City nearly 20 years ago, Yarn has charted repeatedly on the Americana Music Association album and singles charts, climbed as high as number 4, and been featured heavily on Sirius XM’s Outlaw Country, including their single Traveling Kind. Their 2024 release, Born Blessed, Grateful & Alive, also spent weeks on Americana and Alt.Country radio and appeared on the Grammy ballot for award consideration.
Singer and songwriter Blake Christiana leads the band with his guitar and vocals, embodying the music he writes: “The band has officially found something really special over the past couple of years. It feels like we are finally the live band and album-producing band we always set out to be, and the message we are aiming to deliver has also found its foothold.” Alongside Blake, Robert Bonhomme (drums), Rick Bugel (bass), and Andy Thomas (lead guitar) continue to hone Yarn’s live and studio sound, and the band is only getting stronger.
Yarn’s annual music and alternative arts festival, Yarnival, celebrated its 5th year in October 2025 with resounding success at Pop’s Farm in Axton, VA, a location that will continue to host the festival for years to come. The band will tour North America in support of Saturday Night Sermon and has already begun writing the next chapter of their evolving sound.
Beyond thrilled for their return!

Bruce Molsky and Darol Anger… Wednesday, July 22
Cutting his teeth as the manager of the iconic Saratoga Springs listening room Caffe Lena, Reese Fulmer has emerged “with a poet’s sensibility rich with great storytelling and a healthy dose of irony.” (Viv Nesbitt, Art of the Song) The 2023 and 2024 Americana Artist of the Year at the Thomas Edison Music Awards, Reese and his band have become one of the fastest-rising groups in upstate NY with expansive live albums highlighting a reputation for compelling performances. With a rotating cast of talented players, a broad and dynamic body of work, and a refusal to set anything in stone, their shows are always fresh, full of joy, and hard to describe. Think Wilco with hints of Prine and Zappa: "smart, emotionally tuned arrangements and a stage presence that balanced earnestness with unpredictability. Their live performance thrives in the liminal space between genres folk, Americana, jazz and the result is a sound that’s complex without being convoluted." (NYSMusic)

Evan Gavry album release/debut...Thursday, January 29
Evan Gavry is a veteran singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in the Capital Region, New York. His songs navigate the crossroads of classic American styles, blending Country and Bluegrass with R&B, Soul, and Rock & Roll in a way that evokes Wilco and The Black Keys.
While broad labels like Americana, alt-country, or roots-rock give a general sense of his sound, his tag line “Roots Rock with Soul” offers a sharper frame of reference. Guitar-driven textures move effortlessly from Fender chime to fuzzed-out bottleneck slide, carrying hook-laden, melodic original songs.
With lyrics drawn from the tension between the timeless and the modern in everyday life, Evan’s music is analog in a digital world.
The event marks the release of The Lonesome Death of Bunny Dangerfingers, a collection of original songs that trace Evan’s journey from growing up and discovering music in upstate New York, to honing his craft over years performing in Boston, to chasing the dream of making it as a full-time musician in New Orleans before ultimately returning home and reconnecting with his roots.
The album was produced by Evan Conway and features performances from members of TV Doctors and the Insolent Willies

North Country Fiddle-palooza…Thursday, January 22
Join us for a North Country Fiddle-palooza, celebrating the music and life of NYS fiddle legend Earl St. Onge, with a night of fiddle tunes, songs, and jamming!
In March 2023, at the age of 103, Earl played a sold out show here at the Cock ’n Bull, joined by longtime musical comrade and co-conspirator Sara Milonovich, along with John Kirk, Greg Anderson, and Trish Miller. Earl passed away last June at the age of 105 1/2, and this evening will be a celebration of his spirit and musical legacy, as well as a celebration of New York State musical traditions. Sara, John, Greg, and Trish will be joined by some special guests for an evening of fiddling and musical hijinks, featuring tunes from Earl’s vast repertoire.
Earl St. Onge led nothing short of a remarkable life: from playing guitar and saxophone with his father and brothers throughout the Adirondacks and central NY in the 1930s until the start WWII sent him to the South Pacific, to arriving back state-side and riding a Harley from California home to New York across Route 66, to careers at Motorola and General Electric’s research labs, to playing and calling square dances with the Adirondack Fiddlers or the Adirondack Bluegrass League, to jamming with Byron Berline and John Hartford in Nashville. He was inducted into the New York State Fiddler’s Hall of Fame in 2023.
Come out and enjoy a tribute to a truly legendary musician and man, and a unique glimpse into NYS fiddling traditions across 3 generations!
“We oughta be on a stage! There’s one leaving in 20 minutes!” - Earl St. Onge
